My Loudest Family Memory

Korean Humor.. but fact.

When I was little — way before I was even old enough to start elementary school — I remember a day that still makes me laugh to this day.

Back then, Like many kids raised in traditional Korean family culture, my grandfather used to carry me and my older brother on his back all the time. On that particular day, he was giving me a piggyback ride, stomping his feet playfully as we laughed and played.

And then… it happened.
PWAHHK! — a fart so loud it could shake the universe.

There was a brief moment of silence.
Then, my grandfather said something I’ll never forget:

“Were you trying to launch your grandpa into space or what?”

That line lives in my head rent-free to this day. 😂
